Front view camera recommendations?

I have a 2022 Maverick hybrid lariat. I would like to have a front view camera installed. I don’t want dash cam I want a front view camera as an aid to parking and very tight places. Has anyone ever done this? Is there a particular brand that works well? Is this something that I could have done at the dealership? Thanks.

Not something that can be done unless you upgraded to Sync 4 as far as getting it to work through your infotainment screen.

It is a dash cam but it’s also your mirror. Probably your best bet.

You can swipe through the different views on your mirror.

You don't want a dash cam.
California requires a front plate.
Low mounted possibly grill or bumper.
How about Front mounting a rear license plate camera?
There's nothing in the rulebook that says that you have to mount a backup camera on the back.

It still baffles me why Ford put backup camera and rear parking sensors, but no front parking sensors? If they had done rear backup camera and front sensors, that would have made more sense. Or heck both front and rear parking sensors... my 2017 Accord came with both front and back.

I like Glen Baker LLC suggestion, probably makes the most sense.

i assume you mean as standard?
my '25 lariat has front and rear sensors and front and rear cameras.

Ah, I guess another annoying difference between the Lariat and XLT+Lux Package. I would have gone Lariat, but I wanted Cloth seats, and I wanted 17" wheels. Paying extra for those things wasn't going to happen. I do wonder if there could be an add on of front sensors for the XLT (2025) like they did with the 2024 and earlier radar sensor.

Anyone have a picture of the front end of their truck showing the parking sensors?

id have preferred cloth and smaller wheels as well but i wanted to max out on the tech.

theres 2 on the corners and 2 in the black trim of the bumper next to the license plate.

Thanks, so I don't have those holes in my body panels, so if it's electricly/software capable of being upgrade, holes will need to appear in precise places.

How handy are you? I installed on from "Navisk Camera". I removed the infotainment screen, temp control module, radio interfacr and installed the required supplied module and custom installed the front camera instead of using the front liscense plate braket I do not have.
