I' m not so sure your '24 XLT came with a SIBL. IIRC, that year the XLT (Lux) came with the modular bed liner. So maybe it was actually sprayed in by the dealer for whatever reason. Might want to start researching it by scrutinizing your window sticker as a start.

You're right, it's not listed on there. I hadn't really looked at the window sticker that closely since I only just recently got it from Carfax. I made all the arrangements to buy through text messages since the dealership was about 400 miles away and they had already removed the sticker when I went to pick up the truck.

My driver’s door is wonky. Opens with a bit of a ”pop”, and sometimes you have to close it twice to get it to latch. After examining the rest of the body, I’ve decided that this thing wasn’t assembled to Rolls Royce fit and finish standards. Or Subaru fit and finish standards.

When I first started dating my wife back in the early-80s, one of her friends had a Pacer. I remember the extreme discomfort of the rear seat, and the heat generated by its terrarium build.

When the Pacers existed. Around here (Milwaukee-area) some 30 miles or so from their birthplace. We referred to them NOT as Pacers, But AS....

I would have that door looked at by the dealer. No way that is normal. That is why you have a warranty. My doors fit and close fine.

Yeah, I probably will at some point. I’m going to go down soon to make an appt regarding the RDU clunk and will see if they can look at it then. I don’t have time to be dropping the truck off for every little thing individually.

Mine too. All 4 thunk solidly when barely pushed from the inner detent. Impressed me.

However, the fact that some don’t indicate a QC problem. Like Catrike - I find it a hassle to visit the dealer for warranty repairs. I think a warranty should go completely unused - even the extended one I purchased

I would like to never use the warranty also. But 47 years in the manufacturing sector I know for a fact sh*t happens. That is why they give the warranty. I remember my Dad not wanting to buy a car with a 12 month warranty because as he said it meant they didn't think they built it correctly. He was partially correct and traded the car off after 13 months.

Thanks again to everyone who has posted. I just got back from my trip so haven't had time to schedule an appointment yet but I did take some better photos showing the difference between the passenger and driver sides.

This is something I noticed shortly after getting my truck last year (new off the lot) and I've been wondering about. I'm getting ready to have the dealership do the trailer module recall and a few other things that haven't been addressed yet (12v battery, dash squeaks / rattles, etc), so if this is out of tolerances figured I might as well add it to the list.

As you can see, the front passenger side door isn't level with the A-pillar, whereas all the rest of the doors are pretty much right level with the A/B-pillars. Is this a simple adjustment of the door or is there a chance something is more seriously messed up?

I see you also have a 2024, maybe they had a mis-calibrated machine or something similar when doing a run of trucks. Mine was built October of 2024.

November 24 is my build date. Ill post up some pics later today. I just noticed this last week at the carwash.
