Front license plate no longer required in Idaho

It was not too much of a stretch that it was determined by the state that it would save 1/2 the cost of producing license plates by producing just one plate versus two.

Won't help Idaho financially as many cars here still required to have two plates and they are still issuing both plates to all. In my experience though, those license plates make some of the best (free) targets at our home grown gun range in the desert!

I don't need them. I told dealership if they put the bracket on they would be replacing the bumper cover. They put the bracket in a bag with a note: "Do NOT install".
