Thanks for your reply. You're correct that Ford doesn't ship different Mavericks to states that require front plates than to states with only a rear plate requirement. Dealers have told me that.

I spoke with 2 dealers in NY about this front license plate bracket issue, and they both gave me the same part number as the NC dealer I bought from. When I told them this bracket doesn't work, they said this is what Ford said to use. I think they haven't actually had to face this problem yet, so they don't really know. It might be a particular combination of new 2025 Maverick, Hybrid model, Lariat trim line in a state requiring a front plate. Seems like Ford may have overlooked this combination.

Anyone have an after-market solution?
So you have a part number, what is the issue?

If you dont want to drill holes, that makes sense, but if you want to use the OEM front license plate bracket, you will have to drill holes. Ford left three little hole markers in the bumper where the holes should go. If you don't have a rivet pulller, you can just use some fat bolts that will dig sufficiently into the plastic to secure it.

I bought my 2025 Maverick Hybrid Lariat in NC a month ago and have a temporary 60- day NC tag good until early May. I'm driving it to NY in two weeks to have it permanently registered in NY at my vacation home. NY requires front and rear plates. NC requires only a rear plate, so the truck came with no front plate bracket. The NC dealer where I bought the car can't seem to get the correct front bracket from Ford. I'm told the problem might be that the bracket cannot cover/interfere with the front radar sensor for adaptive cruise control.

Anybody else have this problem, and have a part number or a source for the bracket, or other resolution, other than drilling out the front bumper ?
I tied mine on with zip ties to avoid drilling. No problems for over a year now! Just tighten down to avoid movement of the bracket and not scratching paint.

Our no-drill front license plate bracket for the 2025 model is now in the second round of testing. If everything goes well, it’ll be available soon.
Thanks. Appreciate the reply. Let me know if/when the front plate bracket works for 2025. But picture looks like it won't work, doesn't look same as my 2025 front end. But I hope and wait.
Let me know when I can order it, if guaranteed to fit/work.

For my ā€˜25 XLT, even though Georgia does not do a front tag, every vehicle I’ve owned over the last 40 years has had a tag on the front (Alabama Crimson Tide). As has been stated above, the OEM bracket for ā€˜25 model is $160+. So I ordered a ā€˜22-ā€˜24 version from Amazon. Only modification I had to make was on the backside—the little vertical dividers below the solid ā€œbumperā€ are spaced differently so I itched-out the plastic. Seems to have turned out OK.

I know someone in Ohio that bought an F-150 from Kentucky. Kentucky didn't require a front plate. He went back to the KT dealer and said he needed a front bracket. The dealer said it would cost the cost of the part and installation.
Yup, that is correct. Just bought mine in Kentucky and talked to the salesperson this morning. He mentioned exactly the same thing. No way I am paying $ 160.00 for a piece of plastic.
