I have the factor mats and they are very subpar compared to Tuxmat. I'll eventually upgrade those and sell the ford mats.
Mine are the factory Ford Matt's as well

Yeah, but if the pin is there , there should be a hole for it, makes a unessasary and uncomfortable hump on the floor for the passenger.
I have a 2023 Lariat and the factory carpet floor mats came with hole on the passenger mat for the anchor. So it really makes no sense why Ford didn't add the hole to the passenger all weather floor mat. It just seems lazy on Ford's part.

Mine is a 23 xl and maybe the 22's did not have have the anchor and I got 22 Matt's as leftovers.

Mine has space for the pin even though it doesn't go thru.
It's never moved on anyone.

Is that the difference between the Hybrid version, vs the 2.0 EB ones? Did you buy/order the wrong ones? My '24 Tremor front passenger mat fits all the way back.

HRG
The difference between the Hybrid and EB OEM mats is in the back floor, slightly different size.

I have those mats and they have a big cut-out under the gas peddle. This allows dirty feet to muddy the carpet in that area. I had great success when I glued a thin, clear piece of a vinyl table cloth to the underside edges of the mat to cover the carpet in that area.

Drivers side perfect, Passenger side very unperfect, you think engineers would have this figured out.

No hole to secure on pass side

My passenger Ford mat has a circle depression on the bottom to go over that press down button but no lock down hole. I have since replaced all my mats with the TuxMats. They cover so much better. I’m willing to part with my Ford factory ones the front and rear ones for a reasonable price. They are in excellent shape.

Not happy with the coverage on my Ford Mats. Took em out and bought TuxMats that cover the whole area and look great and easy to clean. Three years and look great

My factory Ford mats both fit perfectly.
The passenger side never moves, don’t notice a hump over the unused button.

I should probably get into it and drill me a hole in the mat for the button. Just for chits and giggles.

Maybe something changed on 23xl and someone forgot to tell the Matt manufacturer or I got 22 Matt's after they changed 23.
