I have a 23 Lariat EB. It came with the insulation pads in place. The picture shows some sort of black foam core on the driver's side taken from under the hood.

My 2025 Lariat has what seems to be a rubber pad that is curved and lies on the wheel well. Not attached to anuthing (moves if pushed).Has anyone filled this area? When I open my door I can smell an oil smell, no leaks anywhere.
It's not awful just annoying. Completely stock. I even took off the UPR catch can, it seems to be better but can still smell.

Remove the fenders and cover the engine.I would love to see a solution for this. This is one of the few things that I see is making this truck look extremely inexpensive and cheap. Don’t get me wrong. I love this truck, but when I open the door and I see that opening doesn’t happy vibe, ya know ?
