Fortune Auto Coilovers for 2025 Maverick Lobo - Prototype Development

I'm following up with my contact at Fortune Auto and will reply again as soon as I hear back. Last I spoke to him, they were supposed to be shipping like my setup without the camber plates (since you can't access them anyway with the enclosed strut towers), and with the isolators.

I contacted support and have the non-adjustable top hats on order. They are unsure if they are going to offer it or if it will just be by request.

Any updates on this kit? I want the best quality parts while lowering but of course want the best comfort possible too with a lowered vehicle which i know isn't realistic. I'd go air if I didn't have to fit anything in the bed.

I have not received them yet, they were out 6-8 weeks.
You can ask for the non-adjustable top hats,this will give you less noise.
Also get the spring isolaters, they are a must to keep noise down.
Go with the Swift springs, no matter what weight you go with.
If you want a better ride, over slightly reduce performance, go with 4K front and 8K rear. If you haul fairly often I would go 9K rear.
Depending how low you go, you might want to stick with 5K/9K, since you have less travel you need a stiffer ride.
There is a little low speed jolt but any significantly sized bump or at higher speeds and it rides great. But going up 40% in the front and 50% in the rear, what can you expect.
Fortune Auto are very well reviewed, you will not find a better set for the Maverick.
Make sure to get all of the adjustable bits to get the alignment back into spec.

I am very happy with how it turned out. I love the look, the performance is amazing, and the ride is very good with all things considered.

If you are really worried about NVH and ride, go with Lobo Shocks and the Goodwin or Eibach springs. They are much softer and preserve all of the rubber bits to keep it quiet.

How much of a difference do the isolators make? I bought them, but like a jackass, forgot that I bought them and installed the coilovers. Took it in for an alignment today and got everything where I want it. The from adjustable mounts are a tad noisy, but nothing I’m going to worry about at the moment. But I really am wondering now if any of that could have been reduced by actually using the isolator sleeve things.

Well, I wanted the adjustable camber plates (also didn’t realize there was an option to get fixed top hats from Fortune). So I cut out my shock towers (2.75” hole to access the 4 bolts to adjust camber). If you don’t want to do this, buy the camber bolts. I believe eibach and maybe a few others offer them. That will be all you need to get the front in spec (although depending on how low you go, it may be on the very edge of the negative camber spec after adjusting the camber eccentric bolts from what I hear). For the rear, I went with SPC camber arms and massive speed toe arms. I’m not sure how much everything would be out of spec without them, but wanted to make sure I could adjust it. Also, I went with massive adjustable sway bar links for the rear to go with my Goodwin sway bar, and used the included adjustable links for the front. Aligned it today and got everything right where I wanted. Taking it autocrossing next weekend. I may opt for a more aggressive alignment. We will see. Currently I am at 0.0° toe all around. -1.3° camber in front and -1.0° camber in front.

I did not install them at first either. After installing them quite a bit of metal on metal noise went away, maybe half or more. You can install them without removing the springs. Just loosen the preload nut to make room for the spring to move. Pry it slightly apart and stuff the isolator all the way in. Then reset preload. Make sure both front wheels are in the air when setting preload, otherwise the swaybar will be in play.

Yes, even if you remove them, the top nut and adjustment knob stick out, so minimal adjustment anyway. The top mount bolt is slotted, and adding camber bolts is enough to get the camber back to spec.
This is what I got. I can't say how far off the rear was, but I wanted everything back in factory specs so I installed all the adjustable bits.

Yes, these are available to order from Fortune Auto.
I bought some generic isolators to start with, they did not fit well. I got a set from Fortune Auto with these and they are much nicer.
