This exhaust was purchased for test fitting on a 2025 Maverick Lobo. It sounds good, has a midrange aggressive tone, not too loud of volume, but too much drone for my taste. The best part about this exhaust is that it eliminates all piping behind the muffler...

This exhaust was purchased for test fitting on a 2025 Maverick Lobo. It was installed and used for about a month. It's got a good, lower tone than factory. Not loud by any means.
This exhaust does NOT fit the 2025 models, it's for 22-24 Ecoboost only. The '25...
I’ll reach back out to my contact to get the latest update on offerings and configuration options.
Without the strut tower opening being large enough to access the additional adjustment the plates give you, coupled with the insane amount of NVH they bring, it doesn’t seem like a great default...
I've only had the 4K springs up front on my prototype setup, so I don't have a comparison. I can't imagine 5K would be all that much harsher, so long as you're on the softer side of the rebound/damping adjustment.
I'm running the default springs, we wanted to start there before testing any...
The alignment was more challenging than expected, for a few reasons:
It doesn't appear that Ford has released the alignment specs for the 2025 models. Multiple shops with multiple alignment systems couldn't get any updates for the 2025-specific models like the Lobo and Tremor. So, had to use...
UPDATE! 9/29/25
Thermal R&D have seen this post and provided a limited time discount code for 5% off their system. Use code 2025MAVERICK at checkout to save up to ~$30 depending on the sale price at the time.
I’ve gone through four different cat-back systems on my 2025 Maverick Lobo (Ecoboost), so I figured I’d share impressions for anyone considering an upgrade. The ones I tried: Ford Performance (Borla-made), Magnaflow, MRT Sidekick, and Thermal R&D.
Ford Performance (by Borla)
Fitment was...
Update:
The initially installed top mount camber plate and the lack of any NVH reduction made the first iteration of the prototype setup unbearably loud, filling the cabin with vibrations.
Since then, the following changes were made to the setup by the Fortune Auto team:
Swapped the camber...
A local Ford dealer installed the black-tip side-exit Ford Performance Exhaust on my 2025 Maverick Lobo. I had to double check it for exhaust leaks afterwards because it's obnoxiously loud for a daily driver.
I know it's made by Borla and comparing the Borla to the Ford version, the Ford...
Update!
Fortune Auto swapped out the caster/camber plates for softer, rubberized top mounts and spring isolators. The NVH is massively improved.
I have testing to do on a variety of surfaces, but so far so good, and this is how the production set will come.
My understanding is the camber plates/upper mounts currently installed do not have much noise reduction, but they have other options that do. I'm not sure if the current setup is straight up spherical, already has some attempt at NVH reduction such as a pillow ball, or something else.
Since...
After taking delivery of my 2025 Lobo 702A, I dropped it off to the R&D department of Fortune Auto. Over the course of a week, they took measurements and scans, noting any differences between the 22-24 platform, of which there were a few. They developed a prototype coilover kit using their 500...
