Since there's so many posts lumping into one about Forscan and hybrid/EB I'm starting a section just specifically for XL hybrid without cp 360. I believe the instructions are slightly different.

Looks like the parts for cruise control have been updated to
Left--SW8588
Right--SW8589 at $68.72 a piece.
The older parts are more expensive if you buy them both.
Adapter for Forscan programming can be found at links below. You can pick either one
https://www.obdlink.com/products/obdlink-ex/?ref=forscan
Forscan software can be downloaded here
I'd use windows as it is well documented to work by other DIYourselfers.

Did you get any kind of engine light or code after installing?
Nope, nothing.

I did install the switches last week though, they came before the ForScan cable. Started the truck, none of the steering wheel buttons worked at all and the horn would go off about every 60 seconds. So don't do that, wait until you have everything, LOL.

did you wait 30 mins after disconnecting the battery cable and remove the air bag?

Nope. In fact, I never disconnected the battery at all. After I had everything back together and programming finished I realized I hadn't. I don't recommend doing that, but there's no reason to wait 30 minutes.

I just did mine. 22 XL hybrid. I followed the instructions on the YouTube video from the "Cuban Redneck" posted elsewhere. I did purchase the wrong OBD adapter and had to return it. I then purchased the one listed on the forscan website and it worked perfectly. It took me about 30 minutes to replace the switches. I did disconnect the battery.

The programming had a couple of hiccups, starting with the wrong adapter. Getting the forscan trial license to show up in my email took about 25 minutes. But everything works now.
