Since getting the Maverick in Oct. '23, been 30k trouble free mechanical miles. Never seen the 120VAC work though, so I turn it in for Warranty. Told will be 10-15 days before they can get to it. I ask if I can just get in line and they can call me. I live in walking distance to the dealer. Nope, absolutely not, must leave with us. So I've lost my Maverick for 2-3 weeks, which was and still is working perfectly. (except for 120VAC).

@ford here, any help with the dealer would be appreciated. I miss it as it is much easer to park in parking garages than my full-size SUV.

Man, that really sucks. I have to turn mine in I bought a couple weeks ago to get the adaptive cruise control re-calibrated (it's telling me to put my hands on the steering wheel when they're already three). But the dealer is going to give me a loaner. Maybe because they also asked me to "re-do" my review on them from Ford (I didn't give all five stars).

In the grand scheme, it is ok. I have three vehicles and not commuting so it is overall ok. But my Maverick is my get stuff done vehicle.

They shouldn't make you leave it there when its not even getting looked at though. That is so lazy and poor customer service.

That’s insane, I would find a decent dealer. Don’t understand why they can’t do appointments for a given day

We had the same experience at our dealer in FL. Called and they gave us an appointment for the next day at 7:00am. We told them the backup camera was “frozen”, (yes, they did the update) and I even took a picture of the backup camera on and the speedometer showing us going 40mph.
when we got there, they asked if we were dropping it off. No, it is our only vehicle, we need a loaner. No loaner until we diagnose the problem and we have to get parts… it might take 24-48 hrs before we can even look at it.
Needless to say, we were not impressed and told them to just get us our truck and we will take it to a reputable dealer that will honor their appointment.
