Ford hard bed cover issues

I have issues with the ford bed trifold hard bed cover. I would not order one. Junk!!!

It leaks in the lightest rain I know some water is normal but not inches of water.

The two bolts that hold the cover on went bad, the cover moves. Fred Beans of Newtown, PA told me. “ it is from use, I’ve only had air in the bed. They said to bad look on line for replacements.

I remember when manufactures stood behind products. I wish Toyota had made a small hybrid truck.

I agree with you. Ford Maverick hybrids incredible popularity, caught many manufacturers including Toyota by surprise. You would think Toyota with the success of their RAV4 would have at least made a Tacoma hybrid.

I agree with you. Ford Maverick hybrids incredible popularity, caught many manufacturers including Toyota by surprise. You would think Toyota with the success of their RAV4 would have at least made a Tacoma hybrid.

The new Tacomas do have a hybrid option. It gets 1 mpg better.

I have had no issues with my trifold hard tonneau. But it has to be installed correctly. The only leaks are from the tailgate since there are no seals there. Seems like installer issues.

I have the dealer installed tri- fold hard cover, it leaks in the front corners, but not bad. Our shop Forman had a F 250, with same type cover and it leaks like mine does.

The new Tacomas do have a hybrid option. It gets 1 mpg better.

and the least-expensive version w/the i-Force Hybrid option starts at $46,300. So that ought to shut some people up.

The stout won’t be sold in the us unless Toyota builds a Mexico plant ( thanks nafta)or a us plant .

I have the same cover (installed by my local dealer). No leaks whatsoever and I live in a place that gets 72 inches of rain a year.
