I should have written these down a few months back, but didn’t think the situation would drag on this long. Someone, maybe Delzona or Landscape Designer had the email addresses for a couple Ford Executives. I think one of the execs is Elena Ford. Anyone still have those? I am not getting anywhere with the phone calls and have decided to try a more direct approach. Might not help, but it can’t hurt.

Yep Ford executives will definitely be interested in hearing from their customers who ordered their cheapest product.

I mean I get it but I just read a article about a massive brawl that broke out at a Eagles concert while they were playing "Take it easy". Im just saying that civility and patience has gone out the window in this country. Every story I read about everyday Americans being Americans is just rediculous. The best of Walmart is out on the streets. I live in Hawaii aka the geographically isolated populated place on the planet. Im from Ohio and everytime I visit the mainland(anywhere) I am shocked by what has happened to my country. Almost to the degree of what Native Tribes think. Its nuts.

The point is sending a bunch of emails en masse to executives of a company, trying to get ahead in a line that we all knew was going to be a wait, given the demand, the times we live in, and the Bronco show before us. It just isnt civil and wont do any real common good. They know whats happening, possibly more than we do. It sucks. We are all waiting in this club together for the therapy of keeping the line sane and civil. If you want to rattle some counter tops at your dealership till they bend over backwards to just get you out of the store. Thats your choice. But remember your dignity and that of the whole country is at stake. Just dont end up like this guy.

Good luck with that because all Ford Execs will do is go down the line to let all the underlings know about your order.

Not saying you shouldn't send the emails, but I worked for various manufacturers, and letters to CEO's trickle down to Customer Service via company President.

I have them and will PM you. I had a response from the Southwest District Manager within 24 and corrected my issue and i was refunded $1,400 for an extended warranty that my dealer would not remove.

We all know about the chips and parts shortages. This nonsense has been going on for two full years. Ford is a major multibillion dollar company. They aren’t Bollinger or Rivian who just opened up fifteen minutes ago. They should have plans a, b,c, and d. We are not going through the Pony Express days or World War II. There is nothing low class or uncivil about me trying to find out if my dealer has dropped the ball or if there has been a mistake by Ford in the last eight months. The buyers who have waited up to six months have been patient. Those in the six to eight month range have been very patient. Those who ordered last Summer and don’t have a Maverick in their driveway should have schools, colleges, and hospitals named after them.

Some bored intern who gets to screen incoming emails will probably enjoy laughing heartily at any incoming rants.

If he helps make anyone feel better, the CEO of VW was quoted this week as saying that VW is seeing the chips shortage easing right now. They anticipate full speed ahead for the second half of the year. We can only hope that's true for all the OEMs.

1st model year, ordering during unprecedented times, global economic system in crapper, built in another country, a cheap car with crazy high demand when people are poorer than ever, 1 single factory being shared to build it. Were you not aware of these things. I asked my dealer the worst case scenario when I ordered Jan 17th. They told me 6 months best, 9 months likely, a year potentially.
