I'm like many others here... "In production" but no other information than that. For all I know, there will be a build soon...or not.

I called Ford (800-334-4375) and asked why others get emails and I don't. The customer rep checked. My initial order had my correct email address but their database had a Gmail address that I don't have. No idea who put that in. Emails are now fixed, I hope.

He then told me that I should now get emails and to look for the first one in about three days. So, what do you think that email will say, if I get it...

I imagine it will tell me that my truck is "In production".

Sigh...

Yeah, I hear that from others too, Louis. I have no confidence in getting my Maverick by my one year order date anniversary of June 24. Ford risks losing me if it takes much longer than that.

Mine was "In Production" from May 5 to May 23. Got the "Built" email yesterday morning, May 24, and the "Shipped" email this morning. May 25. It's a bare bones XL Hybrid with only a trailer hitch. Ordered on June 17, 2021. Expected delivery, per email, is June 29-July 5, 2022. So just over a year wait.

Try putting in your VIN to check to see if the modules "popped". I did and they popped on Monday, May 23, 2022, so when they do, it's almost done being "Built". (If you have a spray-in or drop-in liner, bed cover, or First Edition or other decals, it will be a few days longer.) Go to:

https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt

Yours will be completed soon. Ford Hermosillo is cranking it this month and next. We have all waited this long, so not too much longer...

I wonder if one emailed that Gmail address and asked if they have a maverick for sale if they would reply stating they have one in production with dealer markup?

Ask Ford Chat what your “secondary” status is. They will tell you “in production “, but they can also see the secondary. It should say body shop, or something else. That will give you a better idea of where in the stage it is at!

Good info, thanks. I've been checking for the modules...nothing as of yet. I'll wait a few days and see what's up.

I just talked to Emma (she is a pleasure to talk to btw) at 800-334-4375, Ford Marketing and indeed she told me my status was "Body Shop". She didn't know what that meant or how far along it is in the process, but could be paint or perhaps SIBL? No modules populated yet, but still exciting that something is happening.

I started checking the modules twice a day starting May 20. In my case, the watched pot finally boiled! Good Luck - not much longer now.

Call 800-334-4375 at Ford, say New Vehicle and then Maverick and have them check the emails so they can fix them. I hope having done that, I do start getting them. Worth a try.
