Not getting emails from Ford?!?

I called the Ford Marketing Dept, as was recommended by some on here (1-800-334-4375) as I had a hard time getting any answers from my dealership. I did have to wait on hold for a while, but I did get some answers finally. One of which was that I was on some list to not receive emails from Ford. Who knew?!? They were able to change that. I thought about all of the people who were contacted by their dealers instead of Ford by email yesterday.

Now I go back to waiting on my Alto Blue Lariat with Lux Hybrid, since 6/14. Sigh.

I wonder if this is the issue where so many have said they never received a confirmation email from Ford. Thanks for the post. This will be helpful for others to call and check that if they are not receiving any Ford emails.

I think some dealers do it on purpose to control everything about the order. I never recieved a confirmation or the build notice from Ford. Salesman always acted clueless and very slow replying to emails and calls. I knew the order was in from call to Ford marketing. Went into dealer Friday and asked fleet manager to check status and waddya know build was scheduled for 11/15 two weeks ago. Called Ford and bada-bing bada-boom I have the vin.

I got a confirmation email, but no scheduling email. The dealer gave me the vin. It is estimated to be delivered 10/16

I've never had any coms from Ford. My dealer took $500, but has been no help at all in getting a response from Ford. Other than claiming they have submitted my order, they don't seem to be doing anything. I have no idea if I just purchased a vehicle or not. My call to Ford said I was "in the system" whatever that means. I'm actually starting to think about pulling out.

I don't get this either you're supposed to sign the documents to order your truck submitted to Ford and Ford excepts you're build and then you have to sign
again to confirm the build so why people don't get this information from their dealers is still a mystery, I guess I'd better consult with the Magic 8 Ball wait reply Hazzy
