I was having trouble finding a good idea of what the size of the Maverick is like in real life, all the videos seem to have tall presenters. So I was driving home and saw a first gen Ford Explorer Sport Trac. Looking at the specs the two are very close and should give a good idea of the size of the Maverick.

Sport trac height: 70.4
Maverick height: 68.7

Sport trac length:205.9
Maverick length: 199.7

Sport trac Bed length: 50.4
Maverick bend length: 54

One of my co-workers has one and just based on the photos, it looks like the sport-track has a taller stance than the Maverick. I'm waiting until I can walk around a Maverick and sit in one. I was able to check out a Bronco Sport and the ingress, egress of the driver's seat was easy to get in and out, if that's any indication for the Maverick.

In my cross-shopping Maverick vs Explorer, the Maverick is shown as having a maximum height of 68.7", the current Explorer at 69.9"

Do you know the ground clearance of the Maverick Awd 18” wheels. My 2010 Sport Trac has 9 1/2” clearance.

My 6 cylinder automatic 2002 Sport Trac gets 14 miles per gallon, it’s going to be a pleasure seeing my gas station less often, if and when I get my Maverick Eco Boost AWD!

My wife has a 2020 Explorer AWD. When my Maverick is parked next to her Explorer, the SUV is visually much taller than my truck, even with mine having AWD and the Fx4 options.
