Yeah, I'm looking at the Premium 10 year, 100,000, which Flood is listing for $1,680 and the 10 year, 100,000 Full Synthetic maintenance plan, which Flood is listing for $1,720. What I was sold was $4,455 and $2,870, respectively, which is why even the sales guy was like "if I can't figure out how to price match those, then it absolutely makes sense to cancel and get it through them." 😬
Get it from Granger or Flood. The reason your dealer won't match them is because if he does it for you, then he will have to do it for everyone when the word gets out.

Remember, 100k / 10yr is really 64k / 7 yr extension vs the factory warranty.

Gotta love that sales pitch "You picked a great vehicle - these are just simply awesome - now how about spending $$$ more on a warranty for your new POS"
Well, interesting as my Progressive insurance is expiring 2/16/25 and today is 1/9/2025.. So I'm shopping insurance as 3 months ago I sold my 2013 Mercedes C250 turbo and replaced it with my 2024 Maverick

I played the "we can save you $800 on car insurance game." and believe it or not ALLSTATE is $340 less on a 6 month policy.. I've had Progressive for 5+ years.. Everybody (Geico, Liberty, State Farm) was higher..

only difference is comp was $250 with $50 deductible for window glass, now a straight $100 deductible..

But ALLSTATE is offering a $20 a month extended warrant- that and I quote:

"For a hybrid or electric vehicle, also covered are electric vehicle inverter/converter, battery chargers and controllers/cables and hybrid power distribution control unit and power converter."

Ford Maverick Ford ESP from Granger and Flood? allstate-ford

My previous posts questioning coverage of the hybrid battery the answers I received was that FORD's extended warrant did not cover the hybrid batters and today's replacement price is $2800... A Client had his Prius battery go at 68K miles a lady I play cards with her Prius battery went at 54K.

I am wondering if this "extended Warranty" deal is a crap shoot and maybe since I have onl 3042 miles on the maverick, I need to wait a year before I evaluate a smany '22 with them be approaching 100K miles..

Anyhow in the mean time, it's an interesting subject to comment on.. Like following an OIL thread on a motorcycle or airplane forum...

Sorry, didn’t scroll to top of thread. Since the new version of FordPass I’ve not been able to find warranty information, either. I hate the new version, not just because of that. It’s like let’s hide this info and let the user go on an Easter egg hunt to find it.
I went back to the old version of the app for this reason. The old version has so much more information.

how is that so expensive? I looked at ford granger warranty, 7 years 100k and it says its 1850 for 0 deductible premium one. are you saying the ford ESP doesn't actually cover everything?

The problem we have in Texas is that Granger, etc are not licensed to sell insurance and are required to have a physical office in the state to do so. So they cannot sell me a policy. Not true in all states but some so check and see.
Hey MakinDoForNow,
I was just chatting with the AI on the Floodfordesp.com website and asked about that, because I also live in Texas. Here was the answer:

They can sell insurance in Texas if they have an office in Texas or have a contract with a licensed agent in Texas, easy to do. Many different ways to skin that.

I believe that the high voltage battery of my 2022 XL Hybrid is covered by Ford's STANDARD warranty for 8 years or 100,000 miles, which is why it's not included (or needed) in Ford's EXTENDED warranty.
Has anyone told you something different?

I'm on Android so it's easy. However it's likely not possible with IOS.
I was talked into getting iPhone years ago and bought numerous digital books and don’t want to lose those switching to an android phone.

I just picked up my Maverick and got service protection plans through my local dealer. Later while researching the various conditions and all, I came across mentions of Flood Ford and Granger and their offerings, which were considerably lower than what I paid (about $4k lower total).

I went back and spoke with my sales guy to see if he would price match and he was confused, went to his system and showed me what the lowest he could offer was, which was still considerably higher than the two above mentioned offerings. He told me that he contacted the number on the Flood Ford website and wound up getting connected to Ford Corporate, who were unaware of the offerings by Flood and Granger and only offered that sometimes places show cheaper pricing to try and get you to buy.

I'm a little dubious on that explanation give that I was able to go all the way to the point of inputting my payment details to purchase protection and maintenance plans. Does anybody here have experience with purchasing protection and maintenance plans through Flood or Granger, including what they paid (vs what is shown on the site) and how it's worked for them?

I've still got 28 days left to cancel my current coverage contracts, and obviously if my current guys can't match the $4k discount and Flood/Granger are legit then I'm going to wind up going that route.
Read the replies on this forum, no one ever said that the ESPs from Granger, or Flood were not honored when used at a local dealer. These are Ford warrantys, not 3rd party. As of right now, most of the owners of Mavericks are still under the 3 year 36K coverage. Soon some of the early (like myself) buyers will hit the 3 year mark, and that's when the ESP's will kick in. Go with the dealer that gives you the best coverage, with the best price!

I definitely was not suggesting that you switch. Also I completely understand. I'm on Android and have been since my first smart phone over 15 years ago. But my wife and kids use iphone's and really just about everyone else I know. They're constantly bugging me to switch to an iphone but once your in one ecosystem for a long time it's not always easy to just switch for a lot of reasons. Plus, I'm admittedly someone who does not like change and I just like staying with what I know and I'm comfortable with.

Is there a way of doing that on an iPhone?
It is possible without jailbreak, which is becoming more impossible these days, but may not be worth the headache.

You'd have to find the IPA of the old app version, then load it with sideloadly from a PC. This requires weekly app registration refreshing, cause Apple, but can be set up to be done automatically on your Wi-Fi.

Same here, but I’ve considered switching to android as there are things you can do with one you can’t with iPhone.

ti me, a phone is a phone. Email, web browse, text, music videos.

nothing that Android does extra is appealing to me. In fact you can pretty much buy an app that does something androids do.

only thing is things aren’t free on Apple which I do t care, I have over $6,000 in iTunes purchases due to Apple tv and music. Zero regrets. All my friends just pirate the stuff but meh, I can’t be bothered. Isn’t worth the time

I have a windows laptop for gaming or forscan

but my MacBook does my daily stuff. Only pull windows out like once a year as I primarily play on ps5 pro
