ford drop-in bed liner - removal/adjustment

How hard is it to take off the left and right side panels of the drop-in bed liner? I need to remove each side to drill a hole so I can add the screws so I can use an old 05 ford sport trac bed extender, using the Ford screws part # w707381-s900

Is a 10 minute job there is one screw on each side then use prybar to lift the bottom to get them off the channel

Depends on what packages you have. If you just have a base XL or XLT/Lariat there isn't much to do. If you have extra cubbies, tie downs and the bed rails it might take a little longer.

Very easy once tie downs and any other attachments are removed
