Hi All,

New owner of a few weeks with all sorts of plans. I noticed with my drop in bed liner the storage cubby side is accessible while the other side is just the bed liner, no punch out for the blank plate that I see others running electrical through. I have the inverter installed by factory. Is it possible that under the drop in bedliner there is already an outlet there and they simply covered it with the bed liner due to error or laziness? I did not build mine out, I bought it off the lot new. It has 110 outlet in back seat and is an XLT.

My XLT also only has one cubby ... I covered both sides of the bed with a DIBL after getting my Mav.
There was a 12v lead in the glove compartment (along with fuel funnel and manuals).

The lead is for use on the one cubby to add your own 12v device .. so yes.. there should be a wire in there/near the cubbies.

EDIT: oh...you have an inverter ... now i don't know... mine is not as fancy :)

Thanks for the reply. I know the lines are there. My question really is whether the bedliner could be covering a panel. Based on your response, once I remove the bed liner, I am expecting just to see the hollow space. No cover at all? What would I see opposite the storage side when I pull the bed liner off?

Follow up question. I saw on another thread inverter is an option as cab only and cab plus bed. How do I tell which I have? If it is cab only, is there a tutorial for running from the inverter to the bed? Or are those lines in the bed by tailgate already upgraded to handle power from the inverter and I just add the outlets? As you can probably tell, I have no idea what I’m doing but why let that stop me?

That box in your picture isn't the inverter, but rather the trailer control module. The inverter is beneath the center console.

Well that sets up a new level of I have no idea what I’m talking about. Thank you for the correction! Deleted pic to avoid further confusion.

I believe I will really just need to take off the bed liner panel and see what’s there.
