Mine is working fine. Wished me happy birthday the other day and reminded me that my monster-in-law (sorry mother-in-law) was due to visit on the weekend.

After reading the disclaimer and that they can sell the data collected, I'd like to see the list of companies Ford sells the data to before I start using it again.

It's how you can remote start your car. At least for the Lariat. Not sure about the other ones.
Yep.

Unless you got key fob option or aftermarket install of remote start on it.
Which I'm surprised your Lariat doesn't have actually.

I don't have to be in range of my truck to start it with the app. That's the big benefit to it.

Ya, much better option for like starting 10 min before leaving work say - instead of needing to be in foyer perhaps for key fob to reach, and then standing around for that time to warm up/cool down.

So the other trims only get that option.
If you enable telematics and data gathering - which some would prefer lose the option to stay off that.

Yeah, more than a foyer. I start mine when I am headed back to drop off my work vehicle.

Normally I am miles away. Also helpful because I can unlock it from anywhere if someone needs to get into it while am busy.
