For me curbs are an anathema. I stay away. Had to go to the local DMV today. I had to park a quarter mile away to avoid cramming my wife's Jeep into a parking spot on a street. Ending up parking in a restaurant lot that was not busy yet at 10AM. I hoped for the best and it was still there when I got back.

But, at least the rim was okay.

No, the tires weren't that old, probably less than 9,000 miles. She must have hit something and caused a flat. She shredded the tire driving back home two miles on the flat. The tire was fine when she left for work. The other three of the set continued on for a couple more years.

Wife said she accidentally hit some curb...

To fix, most Porsche, Audi, Mercedese, as in high priced car dealers have a local wheel service that fixes scratched wheels on used cars. Have seen them in car lots several times...buffing out scratches on site...sometimes without having to take the wheel off.
