First Time, Long Time...

My name is Mark, and I have been watching this forum for some months while considering the purchase of a 2024 Maverick. Bought a Tremor in October after a short test drive. We spotted it on a Friday, parked on the lawn in front of the dealership. It was next to a Lariat front-driver, which really showed off the difference in ride height. The Mrs. said let's check it out, and I told her that if it was still there on Monday, we'd do just that. So on Monday, we stopped in and talked to the salesman. It took nearly a half-hour to get the Tremor out of the spot it was in- hemmed in by curbs, the ditch, and a bunch of other vehicles. At least it was fully warmed up and ready to go when we finally got out onto the road, so I gave it the beans and in very much less than a block, I managed to set off the frontal collision alert.(!) We were basically sold at that point, and after stopping at a church parking lot to check out all the nooks and crannies, we bought it. There was no dealer markup, and actually a small dealer discount. It was still not cheap, but has all the features we needed, and more importantly comes in a size that suits our needs, and actually fits in our carport with room to spare. It came with 300A (XLT), the Tremor package, the XLT Luxury package, and Co-Pilot 360. Since bringing it home, I have been adding a few goodies here and there, starting with gas struts for the hood and a BAK Revolver X4ts tonneau cover.
We are very happy with this thing, and it is a real pleasure to drive and not at all uncomfortable on trips of up to 3 hours. Perfect for a retired couple with occasional kids and/or grandchildren to haul around. Let me know if you have any questions, I'll try to help out wherever I can!

Congrats on your new Maverick. I have had mine now about 15 months, 4.7K miles and still love it as much as on day one. My experience says these are great little trucks.

Hello and welcome to MTC. Congratulations on your new Maverick. I have one question. Why is your wife not smiling? I would think looking at what you purchased would make anyone smile. Great looking truck, hope you both can enjoy it for many years to come. Happy New Year but doubt you can beat 24 Maverick Tremor for last year, but you never know.

That's a good one! I'm pretty sure it was my comment, though. The reason why I say that is because she has an '06 Mustang GT Convertible Premium, in Performance White with the Dove Gray interior and a black top. It is devoid of any stripes or scoops, so it is totally a girl's Mustang- but for an extra dose of bad-ass I added a Powerstop brake kit and fitted some Firestone Firehawks onto the Bullitt mags. She smiles every time it fires up...
