First Azure Gray 2024 Maverick here!

Just picked it up today, and it was built the first production week for 2024, and I haven't seen any other photos, so this might be the first on the forums?
Drove it off the lot at dusk, if there are requests for more photos in the daytime I can do that tomorrow.

The license plate just ruins the front end of these trucks. I keep my plate holder on the shelf at home. If I get pulled over I will just blame it on constraints
Lots of rigs here(Washington state)actually don't have plates on the front. I will also request MY24 to not have plate installed.

I concur! LEAVE IT OFF!! A few years back, I owned a 2004 Ford "Retrobird," a beautiful car. Texas required a front plate, so, being the law-abiding (read "naive") citizen that I am, I bought the expensive plate holder, drilled two holes in the plastic bumper, and installed the plate and holder. It was HIDEOUS, and detracted greatly from the aesthetics of the car. If I had my druthers, I would not have done it. Most of my club members had not done it. Keep your holder on the shelf.

Sadly didn't have a choice on the front bumper plate, was installed by the dealership before I got to it.
And yes, sunrise was an hour ago but I got other things I gotta do like change diapers, walk dogs, etc etc.

Azure Gray is a great color; these photos confirm it. I really like my 2023 AB Mav, and I also like HPR, but if I was ordering a 2024 from scratch I would have a hard decision to make.

Thanks for posting more photos. This make me really glad I ordered my XLT Tremor in this color. I like it even more than Area 51. Your truck looks great!

I would not sweat the front license plate bracket. Here in Texas it's required by law. Looks great and very sharp color. Had we not been trying to match our gold/sand colored motorhome we would have chosen Azure Gray. We have a Terrain Lariat Hybrid that shipped on Sunday. So hopefully will have it shortly. That said I remove all dealer naming decals and brackets. I don't offer free advertising.

Definitely like it better than the A51. My 23 Lariat Hybrid is CG and I love it. I have a 24 on order, Lariat Hybrid in Terrain with BAP. Can't wait to see one live. Contemplating switching it to CG, depending on if I see one first.

I've been running my Mav up here in WA with no plate for almost two years. I forgot to tell my dealer to not drill my bumper and they caught my mistake.

Anyway, truck looks nice and I wish OP many years of trouble-free ownership.

Man.... My MY2024 Hot Pepper Red is scheduled Dec 4th.... so tempting to change to this Azure Gray.... It looks really really good. I didn't like Area 51 at all, but I like this replacement for it!
