Just installed a Rough Country 1" Level Kit and new Firestone Destination AT2 tires. My FX4 had Pirelli Scorpion ATRs in 225/65-17 from the factory. I got 30k miles out of them... I went up to 235/70-17 with the Firestones. Happy to report perfect fitment. No rubbing. IMO an FX4 should have looked like this from the factory.

Speedo reads 2 mph slow on the freeway, 1 mph slow around town. I plan on adjusting the tire size in Forscan in the coming days.

What brand of tires come on the 2025 Lariat from the factory?

This caught my eye as I took have the 1" RC lift, am nearing replacement time on the stock Scorpions and am considering the Firestone AT's. Did you notice in differences in road noise on the highway or fuel economy?

Road noise is a little bit louder, but still not unbearable at all. Especially after getting the alignment, I'd personally say it's pretty quiet still.

For fuel economy, unfortunately I've only put about 20 miles on the tires so I don't have an idea yet.

Forscan speedo update. In referencing threads on MTC, also other Ford forums, I think the upper-limit for tire circumference does hold some water. 2270 mm is commonly quoted on MTC as the max. The value in mine stock was 2230 mm.

I tried some larger values like 2310 and 2350 mm (on paper these new tires are 2390 mm), and was getting a message in the log saying "tire circumference out of range for this module" when doing the PCM relearn. Interestingly though, when doing the AWD module relearn right after, it would clear the codes and wrench icon from the gauge cluster. The speedo did NOT seem to change at those higher values though (comparing with GPS). Unfortunately, after following that relearn procedure of PCM, then AWD, I would still have a P160 DTC. I was also getting a PSCM (power steering) DTC.

I eventually reverted back to 2270 mm, did the PCM > AWD relearn, then cleared DTCs. No new DTCs came up after, so I guess it'll just stay at 2270 mm...

Goodyear Territory RTs
I thought the RT was the Tremor tire, and the Lariats have a Territory HT?

Goodyear's fault for having like 6 tires with Territory in the name, but I'm pretty sure the HT is a low rolling resistance all-season like the Michelin Primacy A/S used on the 22-24 Lariat.

No you're correct and I'm confused, or an idiot....or both.

nah.

also, when you look at a pic of mostly sidewall with little visible tread, the 'HT' lettering doesn't look that dissimilar from 'RT' or even 'AT' which is yet another different tire. LOL definitely Goodyear's fault on this confusion.

I knew it wasn't AT or MT. HT was the ticket but was thinking about the Bronco's Territory RT as well.

The tires themselves aren't hateful the size just makes for a harsh ride on the Maverick. If I know Goodyears though I'll have a chance to replace these in 15-20k miles....

Is it possible to turn the white outline letters in and get black letters out with these? It seems like every time I see them they're OWL. These seem to have no competition for a lightweight AT tire that has decent on-road manners.
