At least you went with a clean sock.Haha rightThe few people that ride in the backseat know what it is. I just do not feel the need to overcomplicate a simple solution that works perfectly. I did a little shopping spree at Harbor Freight just before my first camping trip in my new Maverick. I thought, look at that, the fire extinguisher fits in the door perfectly! A few miles towards the coast, I heard the rattling. I just pulled over, went into my clothes bag, and put a (clean!) sock over it. It started as a temporary fix until the end of the weekend. It worked very well, I thought it was funny, so I kept it on there

Really funny, One of my salesmen in the past carried compressed dusting air canisters as product samples (actually filled with compressed Freon). I warned him not to get them overheated, read warning labels, don't lock them in the trunk in 100°F weather, so he moved box to the back seat, closed all windows and walked away. When he returned, he had two boobs with nipples on his roof, 2 cans took of and did a boob job. Thanks for the tip about heat. I'm moving mine from rear door pocket to the bed. Years ago I saw another contractor have a can of expansion foam on his dashboard of his truck. It actually blew up and filled the entire cab. Needless to say it totaled the truck.
