Hi Gang.
Well, after two years of Club Membership and two trips to Carlisle to hang with the MTC Roundup, we're finally picking-up our Maverick on Saturday. 2024 Lariat Tremor in Oxford white, with a moon roof and tri-fold hard tonneau.
We've been talking about getting a Maverick since we first saw one at Carlisle a few years ago. We knew the Escape would be going down the road once it was paid-off, and Linda decided that she wanted to get into a Maverick. I wanted to go "low", but she wanted to go "high", so we decided on a Tremor, and it would have to be a Lariat to get the black interior. Wayyyyy more money than we wanted to spend, but we're happy with the deal that we got on it.
The only dealership in our area that had any Lariat Tremors on the lot had 10 of them to choose from. We took a HPR out for a test drive, and the Mrs. really liked it. Decided on Oxford White, since the blue in the interior has always been a sore spot for me, and at least it kind of goes with white. We're still working on selling the Escape, but we'll just bank the cash when it sells.
I've pretty much done everything that I want to with the ST, so it's awesome that there is so much that can be done with these little trucks. Eibach lift spring have been here for over a year, will be getting new wheels and tires, and there's a big box full of parts to go on this weekend. I'll get a Build Log going soon, but we're super-excited to be "official" members.

Welcome to the forum, be sure to post some pics. Going to have to upgrade the OEM stereo, so you can truely enjoy some Eddie like I like too... Eruption & 316 soundso damn good with aftermarket speakers and sub.

I've still not seen a Maverick Tremor in person. Many Tremor F-150's and Super Duties, but not Maverick Tremors. Here's my 24' XLT.

"Wayyyyy more money than we wanted to spend". Well then keep it for a while because it's always cheaper to buy once and hold. At least Lariat doesn't leave you wanting to trade it in. And Tremor is almost a must for all that mud and snow. The white works well here in hot Virginia, but I'm a bit surprised at OW and sunroof in such a northern location.

White was not my first choice, but it's what the Wife chose out of the colors on site. She didn't want black (my first choice); almost had her talked into Cactus Grey.

I had a 1983 Ford EXP and then a 1989 Escort GT. That 1983 EXP was a tank in the snow! (both manual trans)

"Poundcake" is home. We picked her up this morning, then I immediately got to installing some of the pile of parts that I've been accumulating. AVS Bugflector II, Redline Tuning QuickLift hood struts, Amazon tailgate assist strut, ProClip phone holder, Mountune oil cap that was originally on my ST, and most importantly, an MTC decal on the back window. EGR vent visors were no bueno--a little too cold to be messing with those today.
Pics tomorrow hopefully.

Found your post while searching hood struts on this site. I am curious how those worked out. I've seen some reviews on other brands with issues related to either fit on passenger side or interference with the windshield wiper fluid reservoir. Congratulations on the new truck. It looks great.

I think you’ll be happier you got white in the long run, I’ve had black vehicles before and while they are marvelous when clean they are awful when dirty, I consider them the best and absolute worst color for that reason. Whites a lot easier to maintain. Congrats on the new addition!
