That's where I plan to install a Pro Clip phone mount for my smart phone.

Small charging cord down to the power outlets to phone works just fine and doesn't look that bad. Also be aware when you install the mount you really have to stretch the bracket around the corner of the cubby. You'll see what I mean when you fit it on. I complained to the company, they just said "Watch the install video". I still didn't think it was great engineering like they claim they have! It's okay but if I removed it I wonder how many scratches I will find! OH WELL!

I'll be careful and keep a eye out. I've had one in each my 12 & 16 F-150's, 2014 Equinox, 2019 Explorer, and 2016 Fusion that the Maverick just replaced.

The only one that ever scratched the interior plastic was the 14 Equinox pro clip mount. It snapped near the passenger knee area, and occasionally would knocked into. The one in the 19 Explorer has been the sturdiest of all I've installed.

I've also installed one on my drum set hi-hat stand, I like them that much!😎👍. They're not cheap... They just work so good.

I had one in my 21 Ford Mach-E, I liked that one a lot. I tried the one for my 23 Tesla M3P, it sucks big time, I finally gave up on it, wouldn't mount properly. I give them hell about it, but no response. Still your right, good product when they work. It works great in the Maverick great location and sturdy mount, just watch out for the install!
