For me 393 days from order to pick up from dealer.

There was a link on here to an article that covered the shortage of automobile carrier rail cars and the shortage of truck drivers to deliver the vehicles from the rail yards to the dealers.

Any way to track it?

Get on chat with a Ford CSR and ask for your rail car number. You'll need your VIN and possibly your order number handy.

If the chat doesn't work in your browser, use the phone (800) 392-3673.

Then use the automated railroad phone tracker. For East of the Mississippi:

1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say TTGX (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 710700 (or whatever your number is) .
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.

In my experience, the tracker is glitchy and often returns “no status” instead of a location. It did tell me when the rail car reached the destination. Two days later, the rail car status updated to “released by customer” which I assume is rail speak for the rail car is completely unloaded.

Then prepare for the agonizing wait for truck transport to your dealer. Especially fun if you happen to be getting frequent hail storms in your area! I keep poring over the weather radar like it is incoming nukes.
