Hybrid owners won’t like this figure. Slowly been creeping down and hung @ 21.1 forever. Guess I have been having a little too much fun with my first turbo vehicle.

Why should hybrid owners care about this? 🤷‍♂️ Looks like you're still within what the EPA predicted, especially if your foot is particularly heavy.

Just because there is so much discussion about mpg

Yeah, my average isn't as good as I'd hoped. But I do A LOT of city driving, stop and go freeway driving and I idle a lot warming up my vehicle, coffee drive thrus (hey, I'm in Washington State), I eat my lunch in my truck a lot.

On the highway, I will get 27-28 MPG. But, while sitting there idling, I just watch the MPG's steadily dwindle down. But even at 22-23 average, I'm still way better than my 11 MPG average on my Lincoln Mark LT in the same exact patterns.

Hybrid owners don’t care about this, but they SHOULD like it. Good thing I didn't get the ICE.

As a future 2042 hybrid owner this reaffirms my choice.

Grandpa driving is feeling the tranny shift 3 times before you get thru the intersection after stopping at a redlight. I’m currently at 25.8mpg though. I’m also less than 500 total miles, and finishing the break in phase, where the mpg goes going forward who knows.

Having owned many turbo vehicles, both I4 and V6 variants, they should basically be considered EPA cheat devices. I'm not saying I dislike turbos, but they only increase fuel economy if you drive very carefully. If you use the power at all, they drink gas faster than larger displacement N/A engines do.

But no, as a future hybrid owner, I don't care about this number. I'm just a little bit surprised it's 4mpg less than our G70 2.0T averages.

Average miles per hour is 19.39 (not MPG) seems low and confirms your .vehicle is idle a fair bit. Hybrids excel at this style of driving.

1467.3 miles / 75.6666 (75h 40 min) = 19.39 MPH average.

Never really looked into the hr meter. You are right on. I idle for 2 hrs per week. Still warm in Florida so the ac is needed.

I agree. My first tank ,well half tank I averaged about 19.4mpg and thats 99% city driving too but I’m only about 200 miles in so far as well
