Well, I've had my hybrid about 14 months now and have always used Eco mode when driving. Today I put it in Sport mode and what a difference!
Which is fastest off the line, stock hybrid, or stock ecoboost? Also, which would win the quarter mile race?

According to reviews the Eco is faster 0 to 60; by a little more than 1 sec. Maybe your next Mav should be the Eco.

Hopefully they will have the AWD hybrid one day :)

Quick refers to acceleration. Fast refers to top speed. Eco's are quicker than the Hybrids. Neither is faster, as both top out at 110MPH stock.

that would thrill a lot of people despite the fact the extra weight would slow it a bit.

I ordered mine this year (hybrid). That means the 25' my will have AWD. lol
I wouldn't doubt they add AWD availability to the hybrids, or add a PHEV version for 2025. Ford could cash in requiring PHEV to get AWD.

I would expect an XL or XLT AWD with no package would be the fastest as they have the least amount of extra weight added. Ex all 4k tow package adds bigger trans cooler and fx4 adds more stuff and added weight too.

Most websites are saying 5.9s for 0-60sec for the EB's.

AWD most likely would be slower, as they are heavier. 4K tow might have an advantage because of a bit steeper gearing over a regular 2K tow EB, but I doubt it. XL or XLT EB FWD with no options should be the quickest.

the ecoboost is a second faster in the quarter mile bone stock. the hybrid cannot be meaningfully modified to go faster, while the ecoboost can go a second faster still with a tuning device such as a Cobb Accessport.

The turbo will be about 1.5 sec faster 0-60 and hold the same 1.5 sec lead in the quarter mile, both loaded and unloaded according to the major automotive press tests.

Still hoping for a performance hybrid AWD. Add electric motor to the Ecoboost and kick it up to about 375 HP. Weight would probably flirt with 4000lbs but the ratios would still come out ahead.

Unfortunately the FWD eco sufferers from severe wheel hop and wheel spin because of this the AWD version is faster. The quickest Mav from the factory would be a 22MY XL with AWD and the 4K tow package.
