I agree. I would do the same thing. But ford has shown time and time again that everything is subject to change. I see absolutely zero downside to placing a new order in case 22 gets nixed.

I'll give it to anyone who's willing to pay 10k above MSRP.
Seems like a lot of "RESET'' carry over into production schedules and a bit of what we view as a customer relation 'snafu'. Very hard to get info on the Lariat models. MADE A MISTAKE, SHOULD HAVE OPTED FOR A STRIPPED DOWN MODELI had broached the subject of putting in an order for a 2023 with my salesman, just to be sure to get one at all. I opted not to do it. When I got my VIN, I've been assured that my 2022 VB XLT Hybrid will be built, so I was glad I put the idea to rest while I waited for the window sticker and build date. Now this bit of news regarding other models comes along.
Please chime in @fordvideoguy and tell us what you think about this and our options should we get dumped. Thanks in advance
Can it hit Florida and just put us out of our misery!@!!!!I'm going to start a new thread:
"CNN reports massive asteroid to hit earth in two days. Humanity to be wiped out. Most remaining '22 Ford Mavericks will not be made!"
This is clearly click bait. It hasn’t happened… it may or may not happen.. all this does is gives a nervous population more to be nervous about. I’ll ignore until something real actually happens. There is no official word, yet, that Ford will be canceling some of the remaining 22 Maverick orders, but I thought that I would share that this week ford announced that they would be canceling some of the Escape and Transit Connect.
10/12/22

And today, 10/14, they announced the same for Escape.

Are there going to be more cancellations? I don't know. All I know is that this sucks.
Some folks THRIVE on providing worst case scenario proposals.Summary: The above memos have absolutely nothing to do with Mavericks and one has to wonder why it is posted to this forum.
man its like leaving the news on 24/7 rots your brain or something. Some folks THRIVE on providing worst case scenario proposals.
You should have ordered 3 from different dealerships ......I had broached the subject of putting in an order for a 2023 with my salesman, just to be sure to get one at all. I opted not to do it. Wait.... So.... wouldn't that mean the 23's would move to the front of the line?!I'm going to start a new thread:

Who gives a shit for your information in Ford World outside of Mavericks? I’m here for Maverick information, not chicken little broadcasts of the sky is falling. For all the detractors, all I am trying to do is provide information on what is happening in Ford world beyond the Maverick. There is constant complaints about not enough information from Ford on what is going on, and also there are posts left and right of peoples build dates getting pushed further out and I am relaying info that Ford IS canceling other lines and there is no guarantee that Ford won't cancel your build. Especially if you ordered a hybrid when Ford says that they can't guarantee 23 Hybrid Escapes.
"we cannot guarantee 23MY Hybrids for all returned allocation."
Forewarned is Forearmed, take the info as you will.
