I hope they don't go too heavy into EV's - Ford is building a huge battery plant in western Tennessee, a little northeast of Memphis, and another one in central Kentucky, a little ways south of Elizabethton. I home that they have some flexibility on the use of these buildings.

While I'm not against electric vehicles - they have their merits - trying to force them on the people is just wrong.
At least it will loosen China's grip on our nads over EV batteries. There were only 2 battery factories in the USA in 2019. As far as I'm concerned they can onshore lots more than batteries and chips.

My truck was at the dealer for almost a month after the botched recall. The warranty gave me rental the entire time. It was worth it.

When I took My Maverick in for the one and only recall on this truck so far they said they needed it for 6 hours. I said 6 hours to calibrate some electronic gizmo and she said sir just be glad you don't have transmission issue's because the current wait time for getting in for warranty transmission work is 4 to 6 months depending on what's wrong with it. This happened last week and why I created this post. Dealership service is not what it was several years ago.
