I have a question, I was looking at some YT videos of a demo of the 2022 Explorer digital cluster and I noticed that there were no menus to control driver assist things like the adaptive cruise control or traffic sign recognition, that appeared to be controlled by the large center stack screen. Do you lose the ability to control this from the cluster?

I have all of the driver assist settings available on the cluster. Same menus as my stock 6" cluster. It might have to do with the fact I am running my factory as built on this cluster.

Cool, good to know. Looks like an Explorer cluster is in my future.

I'm curious to know if your Tremor's hill descent control function works/displays in that Explorer cluster. I bought an fx4 cluster for that function but like the look of the explorer 6"

Does this work with the Hybrid?

The swaps I have seen were put into an EcoBoost

You would have to find a cluster from a Explorer Platinum Hybrid which I imagine would be like trying to find hens teeth unless you bought it new from Ford for many $$. I'm not sure how much you would gain anyway, the reason we want a Explorer cluster for the EB is the missing drive modes on the Escape cluster and I don't think you would lose any drive modes on the Escape Hybrid cluster.

Hey you should try this coding out OP. It works on the 12 inch cluster on the F150s. Curious if it would work on your 12 inch cluster! Picture below.

I tried it out and got no changes to the display at all.
I even went thru and tried to enable boost/vacuum gauge, trans temp gauge, oil temp gauge. None of them actually changed anything on the display.

Any update on getting the tach on the right side in normal and eco? Thanks.

I haven't made any progress on this. I haven't had the time to dedicate to it recently. I think it should be possible, just have to find the right setting in forscan. Hopefully soon I'll get some time here in the next couple weeks to mess around with it.

I’ve been doing some research on part numbers for the Explorer ST digital clusters from 2020-22… I found 4 different numbers…ending in GJ, YA,YZ, GG…. No idea why they’d be different, or if it even matters for this application.
