Same for me. Went with blue for my 2024 (1st blue and have been driving since 1965), though would have gone with the green had it been available. Last three vehicles were a 2010 Edge in bright read, a 2015 Edge in "bronzefire" and the the Escape orange. Wish list: the color I had on my 2020 Escape Titanium. I called it a burnt orange... Again, never loose it in a parking lot. hahahahaI'm not a fan of green cars or trucks. But the Eruption green looks great even on an xl with steelies. That being said resale values are fickle. 'Experts" will say limited colors bring higher values and also lower values. I never buy a vehicle based on future resale value instead based on if "I" like it to drive for years. I went with Atlas Blue but would have considered EG if it was available on a 2024.
Hybrid XLT Lux. Eruption Green, of course.Hybrid, EcoBoost, colour?
I have the Eruption Green XLT hybrid AWD. So far, so good.Wondering how many members have this color? I love my 2025 Eruption Green Hybrid XLT. Since it appears to be only available for the 2025 year, will it add to resale or was it dropped because of low demand? My dealer (always honest...lol) said that Eruption Green sells the fastest and they only have one in stock now. Chime in if you have this color.
I recently bought a ‘25 hybrid XLT in eruption green. With the 18” tires that came with the BAP, I think it looks quite sharp.Wondering how many members have this color? My sentiments as well. I also have no problem picking mine out in the parking lots. Mine is Cyber Orange!I hate boring car colors like black, white, silver, and ten shades of gray, which are all terribly overdone, it's been sad watching the varied beauty of the world get sanded down. I feel it may be a Gen X legacy attitude-- so many cars of my childhood and youth had bold, even crazy colors, that the simple act of owning a green truck feels like a brave protest against conformity. Of course, I also happen to liked this emerald shade of green long before I bought the truck, so it's a win-win. (Although, to be honest, British Racing Green remains my favorite... but this Eruption Green is a close second).
But yes-- one of the best perks to this color is spotting it anywhere in a parking lot!
Ford is famous for doing this. One year for a colour and then it's gone. In 2010, I decided I was going to buy a 2011 Taurus i the burgundy colour. When the time came, burgundy not available for 2011. So if you see a burgundy Taurus, it's a 2010. If you like an new colour with Ford, order it now.Glad you like it - I've seen a few out in the wild and also like them though I don't know if I'd buy one. In general green is one of the least favorite colors for vehicles, it does have a niche audience for certain types of vehicles but it's under 2 percent. I don't understand why Ford is playing all these games with colors, I don't see the rationale in changing/limiting color choices every year and disappointed customers who were waiting another year to buy their truck and then find out that well the color they wanted is no longer available.
