Engine steam after car wash?

Never have had that happen. I wonder if your hood is not sealed completely.

Looks like this Mav is in a garage. I would think any water from a car wash would be "steamed out" on the drive before it was put in a garage. Unless you washed it yourself in a driveway?? If commercial car wash, how far away was it. I take it you had not just driven through water puddles or snow??

Perhaps your Mav is just "steamed" that you took it through a commercial car wash? Some people on this forum have said the Mav has thin skin (paint)!!!

Everyone has different opinions on the carwash, to each their own, I run mine through the carwash weekly, with no issues and no steaming. Happy New Year everyone!
