That's a question like asking who makes the best gasoline , best coffee, best tires, best car wax. Other than obvious bad choices using Ford recommended oil and filters should not hurt your vehicle.
Same for oil filters. The Fram Ultra XG3614 (or XG3600 oversized) for the Maverick Hybrid model has the best ISO 4548-12 results, and has been tested to be better down to even 5 microns (80%), which is exceptional amongst OTS filters.
You could get by OK using about any API certified name-brand 0w-20 though. Getting the best is not what we all do.
Uh, ALWAYS use the oil weight they tell you to use. I never understand these people who tell people to go with different weight because they think it gives them better gas mileage or something. There's a reason why they chose the weight they did.
As far as oil brands, I've always used Castrol Edge Extended Performance and have never had any issues, and seen many independent tests that show it's one of the best oils out there.
As far as filters, please, just buy a Motorcraft filter. Believe it or not, it's probably the best filter. Fram is the absolute worst, but they just have the best marketing. But it doesn't matter, Motorcraft filters are probably the cheapest, and the best, so there's reason to get anything else. They have the silicone relief valves and all of the other fancy features the "premium" filters from the other brands offer at like half the price, or sometimes even less. For my last car I was getting them for like $4 each...
