Dang ...that's a lot of work to replace it on the hybrid !
Living in California I don't have one on my Mav .
When I was kid , living in the Midwest , I used the heater that replaced the dipstick .
Easy Peasy ....

So, if you are not even using the block heater then this is a non-issue? Just leave it alone and not worry about it? Or should it still be fixed?✌

IMHO there's about 99 quirks with this vehicle that have higher priority than this one.

But yes. No power to the plug = no problem.

No leaking coolant = also no problem.

The "fix" should be; inspect for leaks.
If none, remain calm and carry on.

This must be an extension of the recall on the block heater on the '25's. I checked with my dealer a couple weeks ago and they dont have a fix for it yet. I was hoping to get it fixed before the impending Minnesota winter.

1) look for leaks before using it

2) use it

Is there a separate TSB or recall for the '25s? I just checked my Ford app and don't see anything pending, though I have a '25 Lariat Hybrid with the block heater. I also haven't gotten anything in the mail yet, and I've had the truck for ~6 months now.

IIRC it was only a small number made in a 10-15 day period back in February. If you don’t have any pending recalls in the app, or Ford recall by VIN page, don’t worry about it.

When i bought my 2025, the dealer didn't want to install my block heater cord, saying that there's a recall on it, but now I'm curious if it's safe or not since not included, and also a different engine than the 24s, i still have the cord

My 2025 had a Canadian recall for which I had an appointment on July 7th. They removed the faulty component; gave me the connection assembly & told me that they would call once the replacement unit is available. To date, nothing. Disappointment with Ford especially with winter arriving in the Great White North.
