To Ford: You won me over! I was a loyal Toyota fan since 1985. (Corolla wagon, first edition Prius, Prius Prime plug-in, Tacoma etc.) but I LOVE the Maverick 2024. It is the perfect size for me, I love how easy it is to get in and out of, great back seat for hauling gear, the tail gate is perfect height for emptying into a wheel barrow when loaded with compost, love the radio with real knobs (like old school)...it is really well thought through. I am retired and do a lot of volunteer work (pulling invasive plants in waterways), and this cut my gas consumption in half (over the Tacoma). The only vehicle that might take me away from this one is if you come out with a hybrid Plug-in all wheel drive version. (hint: hint). You are getting close with the 2025 options.Hey, Jeff! We hope you've been enjoying your Maverick. Thanks for sharing this with the community.
Thanks for a really fun truck, and I can't tell you how many people come out of the woodwork to ask me about it. Ironically, I grew up in Dearborn, MI and yet it took this truck to make me a Ford geek. (I had Fords at work: F150, F150 crew cab with extended bed, and an early Bronco. I loved how hard I could work them, and how dependable, but I couldn't afford the gas for myself). But now with dependable and great gas mileage...I am all in). I think this truck will bring others to Ford. My thanks to the design team.
