Does it cover the entire bed? Also wondering how rainproof it would be.

I dont think it'll be rain proof. I think a driving rain storm will force water under the seals.

Where did you order it from? I cancelled my factory cover to buy the MX4, but most places won't even let you provide an email for in stock notifications.

I bought mine through bakflip. Took 3.5 months to get.

Looks just like the old one on my Ram, but that seems a bit short to me. Hmmmm...

Nice, how do you like it? Any complaints? How much did you pay and where? I want the MX4 but it's hard to find in stock and expensive.

I like it a lot. Pretty much water proof. We had a driving rain and in the morning, less than 30 droplets in the bed. Easy to install and you can use one hand to open and close. I got it from bakflip, so I paid about $1100. Ordered it in October and got it at the end of January. Some people have some negative reviews, so youtube them if you're worried.

I installed the BAKFlip MX4 in about an hour. Good fit and looks great. I picked it up from Amazon and canceled the one I ordered from my Ford dealer. Now I need to organize my truck bed.

Bak makes really high quality bed covers. Unfortunately, I didn't want to wait 3 months to get one, so I ended up going with the UnderCover Ultra Flex. It looks almost identical to the Bakflip MX4. However, this one doesn't lean up against the back of your cab, the rods hold it up in place. The rods seem a bit more sturdy than the ones on the MX4 I guess because they have to be giving the design. The MX4 has a bit better end cap setup that looks better in my opinion. Price wise they are about the same.

I sure would have gone with the Bakflip MX4 if they had them in stock within a reasonable time frame. The Bakflip MX4 on my Nissan Frontier doesn't leak much at all. I checked the UnderCover tonight and I don't see much water leaking except around the tailgate end caps, which is where the MX4 does a better job. I just wasn't okay with them getting my money upfront and me waiting for 3 months. If they didn't charge you until it shipped that would be different.

Thanks very much. Based on all helpful comments so far, I'm leaning toward the MX4. What a great group! (I'd love to see a recent photo of your truck.)
