Electronic Issues I'm having.

See if you have an overall idea on these:
1. Cabin light works intermittently.
2. Low gas warning light didn't come on, drove till 30 miles remaining. Supposed to come on at 70.
3. Center LCD goes blank. Used to only happen on startup, now while driving. Have to do factory reset to restore.
4. Saved station ID's on radio, just say 'Sirrus XM'. Push the icon and the correct station plays and correct ID appears.

Does these sound like one common problem, say low battery, or is each an individual problem.

Geez, what a mess. My GUESS is #1 is deep sleep/battery issue that so much is posted about. #3 & #4 might be battery related or electrical - who knows. #2 no clue. Have you had all the recall updates done? Seems like a trip to the dealer for warranty work is in order imo. Hope you get it all straighten out soon.

It's a big computer, with all those things controlled.
"Have you tried turning it off and back on?"

That's accomplished by a negative battery cable disconnect for say 5 min.

Also regarding #2. You using a MyKey setup?
If not, 1st warning is 50 miles, and frankly it seems easy to hit OK on it when it appears at startup with other reminders clicking OK on.


What Is the Low Fuel Reminder


A low fuel level reminder displays and sounds when the distance to empty reaches 75 mi (120 km) to empty for MyKey, and at 50 mi (80 km), 25 mi (40 km), 12 mi (20 km) and 0 mi (0 km) for all vehicle keys.
Note: The low fuel reminder can appear at different fuel gauge positions depending on fuel economy conditions. This variation is normal.

Re:#4 I’ve had the pre set buttons issue several times but in my case the SYNC3 system was frozen with no response from any buttons and no volume control for about 8 minutes. One of the issues I will be asking my dealer about at my next visit in August.
