DTC codes help!

Hey everyone,

After realizing I haven't configured my AGM battery properly in the computer, I went and hooked up ForScan. From there, I noticed I got 2 DTC, one is in the ACM, and one is in the Body BCM, and they are:

- B1445:11 (Circuit Short, Rear Park Lamp)
- U0255:00 (Loss of communication with Front Display Interface Module)

The second code is something I've noticed back in September, when I have the dealer updated the firmware for the infotainment system, but the first one is completely new to me.

Is there any way I can solve those two DTC?

All lamps w/Headlamps, DRL, or nothing.

Yup, I got the recall for the turn signal unfortunately.

I'll stop by the dealer soon and inquire them about the DTCs as well

Umm.... check the rear park lamp???

That's what kind of puzzled me, because I never touched the rear lamp, and I think the rear park lamp is part of the whole rear brake light assembly?

Yup, I'll get the recall done and I'll update if anything changes

Well, I'm back home after the recall and unfortunately, that still didn't wiped the B1445:11 code.

I inquired the dealer (different one, since I couldn't schedule an appointment with my usual one) about it and the service advisor said to schedule an appointment if anything off occurs. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.


As for the ACM one, I think it's likely why my Ford Infotainment system couldn't do anything related to FordPass or update my firmware (had to get my dealer to update it manually as a result). Maybe my ACM module had gone bad?

I would start the olde fashioned way, by walking around the truck at dusk with the parking lights on and see if everything looks OK. If you really have a short, then one or more tail lights might be out. This could be something to bring up when you're getting your 23E09 recall addressed.

That's the weird thing, all lights work perfectly when the light knob is set in Parked position.
