How did someone on the design team not call BS on the tonneau felt? Something as complicated as adaptable cruse and blind spot detection work perfectly then someone sloppily glues cheap felt on a bed cover. After reglueing twice, I finally just pulled all the felt off. Good riddance.

I'm 66 and I've had 3 trucks since 1983. A new Toyota Hilux for 26 years / 330K miles, a used Ford Ranger for 14 years / 268K miles, and a salvage '23 Maverick for 1 month. I don't buy stupid trucks.
I'm repairing a salvage '23 Maverick with tailgate and right quarter panel damage. I noticed the left rear radar has a sort of protective plastic cover around it while the right radar does not. Any thoughts as to why? Perhaps exhaust heat?
Frame - Right rear frame rail crushed in about an inch. $600
Parts - Right taillight assembly, rear bumper cover, bumper cover support rail, bumper impact absorber, parking sensors. $1,300
