Driver's unlock no longer unlocks all doors

I have a 2025 Lariat that up until about a month ago, I could unlock all doors from the driver's door handle by clicking it twice. Now it will only unlock the driver's door. I hear a second click but it doesn't unlock the other doors. The passenger handle unlocks all doors.

Was there a update that changed this? If not any suggestions? I don't want it to automatically unlocks all doors when I stop.

Thanks but I don't want them to all unlock when I stop. I'd rather be able to unlock the doors from the driver's handle like it used to be.

RK....he's talking about something different. Not the "Auto Unlock"....I believe he's referring to the One touch vs. Two touch unlock option...or should I say "Just driver's door vs. All doors with ONE push...not two. I changed mine when I got it to unlock all 4 doors with one push...not just the driver's door. Some like it set to two pushes for security if someone is walking up on the other side of the truck.

Almost sounds like a sleep mode issues. Make sure your battery has a good charge.

2025 Lariat owner here and I have not had any issues with the lock/unlock functions.

My battery is full charge. I tried pressing both the lock and unlock on my key fob and it now unlocks all the doors with one touch of the handle which is better than the auto unlock of all doors. But when I did the lock unlock again, still still doesn't unlock the other doors when I press the handle again (like it used to). It makes a click sound but no unlocking.

The power door lock control is on the front doors.

Press the button to unlock all doors.

Press the button to lock all doors.

Note: The central locking only operates if the front doors are fully closed.


That's from 24MY manual but using for description - So using Ford's terms - you are ONLY talking about Power Door lock control?

Because you said clicking - so sitting in vehicle. " I could unlock all doors from the driver's door handle by clicking it twice. "

Or are you talking about the keyless entry on outside by touching the required spot on door handle? There's no movement for clicking so that sounds confusing, besides there not being a "twice" action unless the 25MY added that.

Sounds like you changed the Fob option in instructions above to unlock all when you open driver door using keyless entry.
But you are still complaining the Power Door lock control doesn't unlock all the doors?

Which is odd - I don't think a 1 button press of unlock is supposed to be for only the driver's door.
Because all the driver has to do is pull the door handle to open their door. So not really a useful thing.
The 1 button press of unlock should be all the doors. Unless the 25MY changed that and gave an option for it.

So basically - are talking about sitting inside with Power Door lock control?
Or outside with keyless entry?

HayBales….I think you hit the nail on the head. I was also confused on what he was trying to say…. it didn’t make sense. That’s why I corrected the second poster thinking he wasn’t talking about the same thing as the posters question but didn’t know exactly what the question was. . I assumed he was talking about the key fob, changing it from one push driver‘s door only to one push all four doors unlock together.

On my 2025 Lariat when I was outside the truck, I touched the driver handle once and it only unlocked the driver door. If I touched it twice it would unlock everything. But unlocking all doors stopped working about a month ago. For safety, I don't like unlocking all of the doors if I don't need to. 90% of the time, I only want to unlock the driver door because I am alone. I realize that I can unlock the other doors by opening up the door and hitting the door lock but I'd like to get the unlock to work like it did for months. I guess that I'll take my Maverick to the dealer.

Checked your manual for the Keyless entry options, since that is what you are talking about?

Manual page for 24MY was given above, and shared the Fob control for the option of 2-stage unlocking.

So if the 25MY added 2 stage from the door handle - it's probably a truck setting.
You are getting the desired 1st stage - driver's door only unlock.
You just need the other enabled.

Or a software update occurred - and you are getting what the pre-25MY trucks had as option.
Check your manual under Keyless Entry.

If it doesn't say anything about 2 stage with handle - your dealer will be worthless and probably aggravating.
