Unsure when it stopped working but I think the timing was right after the coilovers were installed
Different issue than not being able to change drive modes (like when you first plug in the Escape cluster, in that case you push the button and the screen shows you are in normal mode but no other modes show as selectable)
This issue is the button does not do anything, it’s dead…. Doesn’t show anything on screen when pushed
All the other buttons in the console work

Dealership replaced the button cluster and did not fix

They are reaching out to Ford for assistance as this seems to be the first time this issue has been reported

The issue most likely is you inadvertently disconnected or damaged some of the wiring related to the ABS system or put some of the wheel sensors out of alignment when you installed your coilovers. Either way if the problem didn't happen until you installed the coilovers then the problem as far as the dealer is concerned was caused by the coilover installation and shouldn't covered under warranty. If you get lucky and they do then more power to you.

Yo what up dawg let me drop that wisdom on you.

What coulda happened is you may have dropped low and then rubbed a wiring harness in the wheel well.

OR

when you jacked up the rear you compromised the harness that runs along the subframe.

People just can't leave well enough alone and drive the vehicle as it was intended from the Manufacturer, And your surprised your having problems after your modifications

Had his opinion been positive, would it be OK? Asking for a friend.
I posted this to see if anyone else had encountered the issue
We looked to see if anything was damaged during the suspension swap and nothing was obvious
I wasn’t looking for anyone to come and place blame because I made changes to my vehicle
Feel free to make comments (positive or negative) on any of the “look at me” threads posted in the photo section

No armchair quarterbacking needed in this section
If you have not had this problem then don’t comment
We have obviously looked at the recent mods for possible issues
Was just looking to see if anyone else had encountered a similar issue
Apparently you two have not

Dammit. That’s what I was afraid you would say. I replaced my hvac controls over the weekend with one from a Bronco Sport. Today, I realized my Drive Mode button was dead.

I’m gonna try to learn ForScan quit tonight to check the ABS modules

That won’t help you, we tried everything to get it to work (both with forscan and whatever Ford’s programming software is…. Either the module was damaged or something in it isn’t wanting to work with the Maverick system)
I ended up switching to an Escape A/C panel to get functionality back
No issues since
