Backup camera frozen even when in drive mode

I don't think this is what the OP was saying, but FYI there is a setting to have the camera stay on after shifting out of reverse into drive until the truck moves forward for a few seconds (or maybe speed?). I like it.

On the 22 to 24 model years.
Rear camera delay.
Is the setting to have the camera stay on after shifting out of reverse and into drive.
The forward speed is 5 MPH before it reverts to the standard screen.

From the last line of the OP first post is an indication that he had the recall done.

I had the recall done a few weeks ago even though I never experienced any of the conditions detailed in the recall. Last night when I was driving home the screen would not come off the Ford logo. My trip was about 10 minutes long.
After getting home I attempted to get it off the logo going forward and backwards plugging in my iPhone nothing worked although I could hear my navigation working but no visual.
This morning I went out to the garage put it in reverse and forward everything worded as designed.
So the question has anyone else experienced similar situation since having the recall completed?

Same thing happened to me 5 months ago. It was only a 10 minute drive so I went ahead and finished the trip. The next time I started the Maverick it was fine.
I still have to have the camera recall done.

But I had the recall done. Interesting though the service tech who did the recall said you’ll know if it’s warranted because the picture will be upside down. Don’t know since I never had any issues before the recall was done.

Never heard a complaint of the picture being upside down by other posters in all the threads, unless I just missed that.

According to that mechanic then - none of the recalls were warranted/needed.

Since 2 drivers (and others I recall before the upgrade) have seen the same issue of stuck Ford logo, it's outside what the upgrade took care of.

I pull out forward, no reverse in the morning - I've had times of delay on the Ford logo long enough, where I wondered if I had needed reverse video would I have gotten it?
But never stuck for a whole drive.

This is the first time I’ve experienced an issue with the display as well. I thought the techs comment was strange myself but having no experience of this nature and I figured he has run into many I’m just passing on his comment.

Just had this happen to me today. Recall work done in April. No camera issues prior to the recall work. Frozen camera today. Back to the dealer. I'll try the restart combo when/if it happens again. '24 XLT
