Fix all of the interior rattles and upgrade the materials. And no, I should not have to turn up the volume on my radio. :LOL:.
A larger battery would be nice to have some extended range on electric only. Except that I am very happy.

2026 Ecoboost 2.0 L Turbo with the EIGHT speed Tranny.

Plug in,
Drive battery FOUR times larger capacity than the current 1.1

Eliminate the 12 volt AGM !
Come on ford ! A voltage regulator can handle ALL of the 12 VDC stuff !

Give us back intuitive buttons we don’t fave to look down away from traffic to operate.

A proper battery control system. Can start itself anytime and charge as needed.

I love all the suggestions but what I don't want is a 50/60k truck, the reason most of us bought a mav is the price, even a 40k lariat with all its features is 10k less than the average new car price.

BUT !

If they built one of our fantasy trucks posted in this thread and put 50/60k on the window sticker I’d snap that mutha trucker up in a minute !

It would be like when I bought my 2021 Bronco sport base model in December 2020

I had the first BS In the county and enjoyed celebrity status for almost three months before the second one showed up.

Ford loved it, I drove it everywhere and many people asked about it. Some took a picture.
I told them all, King Ford has one left.
I was lying my ass off ! hahahahahaha

Besides, who knows what Ford engineer might see something in this thread and we get it down the line.

Power, wisdom, knowledge, some of us have some. It should be employed.

I know that feeling when I worked for ford in the early 80s I got the first Bronco 11 at the dealer and when I got my 22 Maverick People stopping me asking questions.

Bigger HV battery, tachometer, pass through to bed, 6' bed, hand brake, latching driving modes, yeah intuitive buttons, SuperCab, electrical test points for system diagnostics and a nicer cover under the engine.
a tach (as well as oil pressure) on a hybrid might cause some confusion as it goes into battery mode and both gauges go to zero. It would need to have 'Hybrid' come up in green or something like that. Besides, if you go into the engineering mode you can see the RPM, pretty boring, it stays around 2000 while driving(if I remember correctly) and because of the ECVT, it does not change much at all, Just thinking out loud here.

I don't want anything to do with the 8F35 and a hybrid.

The HF55 is far superior, but I wouldn't mind the new DFI ecoboost paired to it at all.

DFI has a nice little power bump but I'm glad I don't have it because of the downsides: dirty intake valves, injectors in the combustion chamber getting carboned up and worn, and with higher fuel delivery pressures a more complicated fuel delivery system.

Dual fuel injection. Port and direct - not just DI.
