Drain hole for tonneau?

I installed my undercover ultraflex tonneau cover without too much difficulty. I used the holes in each side at the front of the bed to run the drain tubes. I'm not sure however where these hole s lead to and if this is an appropriate spot to let water drain into. Does anyone know for sure?

I ended up drilling a hole in the center of my tonneau cover and then a hole directly under that in the bed of the truck. Now it drains in a place similar to the AC.

I'd really not want to have to drill any holes in the truck. These holes seem perfectly positioned for how I'd like to use them so as long as they don't drain into some interior panel, I just as soon stick with them.

They should just drain in the wheel well to the ground. If you get underneath you should be able to see them poking through.

Far as I know those drain to the ground, mine was installed by cover mfg rep and that’s where they installed drain lines
