Door edge protector; is this standard?

Noticed a hard 5mm transparent tape attached to all the door edges. Is this standard equipment or dealer installed? My dealer had 4K of extras added to cost that I had flatly refused. There’s other stickers also for catalytic converter tracker and DNA Trace system. Did I get all this for free or not real since I didn’t pay.

Door tape is not original and good to hear you refused to pay the additional 4k. Those options are mostly trinkets and snake oil to boost the dealers profit. 4k of dealer installed crap is just greed.

Like it but nope, not OEM.

Beware, this type of door edge protector is probably not very high quality stuff. It will help protect the edges, but after time may start collecting dirt under the leading edges. At that point, make sure you remove it so as to not have permanent scarring to the paint.
