I meet friends for canoe camping trips and I usually get to the Put-In the night before and meet everybody else in the morning. It's inconvenient to unpack and then quickly repack in the morning so I just sleep in the truck. If I was only 5' it would be okay but I'm 6'. Working on something.

I know everyone will cringe when I say this, but BEV opens the door to smaller trucks in a zillion layouts. Because there are no CAFE perverse incentives in the way. I think the second half of this decade will be an amazing time in car and truck design, enabled by BEV architectures.

For those who don't understand CAFE perverse incentives, there are several threads about it on MTC. And videos on YouTube from multiple sources (Alex on Autos, TFL, and more).
