Door Dings

I know most of us protect our MAV's by parking away from all the fools out there. But I tell you, these mavericks have some TTTTHHHIIIINNNNN door panels. Parked ONCE near others and got a nice ding aleady.

Other drivers are the worst and they don't care about other peoples property.

I have those and like them very much. However, my Mustang's door would miss it and ding the door.

Yeah that aren't prefect, that's why I said "to try to minimize door dings" and didn't say to stop door dings. Some doors might line up and hit them and others might miss the moldings and still hit the doors.

If you dont want to spend the money on the color matched ones there are some much cheaper generic black ones on Amazon. Not specifically for Mavericks.
I was gonna get those til I showed my husband the fancy ones and he wanted them. Lol

The rolling eyes wasn't for you, but the fact that my Mustang door would ding my MAV.

I got the ones from Dawn, a perfect color match to my Alto Blue, and very high quality...

Had this issue with my 2015 Prius. I always park far and on the end.

Sometimes I think that just gives the shopping carts more time and space to build speed....

I also purchased moldings from Dawn, but I placed them on the lower body groove. My reasoning was it's the most "outer point" of the door, however, it does leave a lot of "exposure" above that point. The quality was good, however, they created the "inner" ends (that meet at the doors in the middle) at 90 degree angles, which does not follow the door edges. Not a huge deal, but it could have been better IMHO.

I bought a set from Dawn awhile back for my Hot Pepper Red EB AWD but decided to wait til I get my first ding to install them. Then, I'll install them at the height that covers the ding..
A really nice product too. Equivelent to a Big 3 Manufacturer's factory molding.
