Does the XLT automatically come with cruise control?

Hello all.

I’m sure this has been discussed in length here, so apologies for rehashing.

Does the XLT automatically come with cruise control? And if you add “Ford Co-Pilot 360” does that upgrade to adaptive cruise control or do you have to opt for the luxury package? Confusing as the Ford build site that was used for 2023 does not mention anything at all about cruise control on any of the packages you can add?

XLT comes with basic cruise control. Adaptive cruise is only available on the lariat and only if you add the CP360 Assist package which also requires the regular CP360 package and the lux package.

Adding adaptive cruise means your truck will start at about $34K including the destination charge.

The Accessories rep inside my dealership said she could get me a Price to add CP 360 ASSIST to my lariat tremor with CP360 which is scheduled but that it would not be by Ford??? So I passed.

Yes, although XL doesn't need CP360 for cruise control; it's standard.

Put a different way, every single 2023 Maverick built for the US has standard cruise control. Adaptive cruise control requires the trim and packages listed above.

For 2022, Maverick XL did not get any form of cruise control, no matter the options; you had to jump up to an XLT or Lariat for even basic cruise control. This was "fixed" for 2023.

I bought the XLT with the Co-Pilot 360 and my dealer told me today that it indeed has the adaptive cruise control. Quote from Email below:

I question this. I’ve checked a couple times and although I haven’t confirmed this, it’s looked to me that enhanced lane centering (copilot 360 assist) and ACC is only available on the lariat w/lux and possibly tremor.

This is correct. On the 2024 Lariat, what used to be the Lux package and Co-pilot Assist is now standard also. Never has been nor is Adaptive Cruise control available on an XLT or XL trim.

Hate to have to tell you but, (see above) your dealer told you wrong. Co- Pilot 360 only includes: Lane keep system, Blind spot info with cross traffic alert. Beyond those, the other systems mentioned are only available on the Lariat and standard on the '24 model. They are part of Co-Pilot Assist.
